This custom museum display showcases a glass vial containing Authentic Ancient Egyptian Mummy Linen wrapping from 1290 BC. Mummy Wrapping was a very involved process, and it typically took a week or two to complete. While the deceased was drying in the desert, the family gathered roughly 4,000 square feet of linen and brought it in to the embalmers. When the linen was delivered, the embalmers selected the highest-quality material and stripped it into long "bandages" measuring 3 to 8 inches across.
It's protected under plexiglass in a custom museum display to keep it looking pristine, ensuring protection of your investment while allowing you to fully appreciate this piece of collectible ancient history. The customized descriptive metallic plaque, in addition to the detailed finishing, add to the elegant and sophisticated, gallery-quality aesthetic. Complete with a certificate of authenticity, this piece is an exciting investment that will only get better with age.
