Nightmare before Christmas is getting a sequel

Disney publishing hired Shea Ernshaw, author of The Wicked Deep and Winterwood, to write a YA novel for the sequel of the hit movie Nightmare before Christmas.

The new story, which is currently untitled, is told from Sally's point of view and begins sometime after her first kiss with Jack Skellington on Spiral Hill, with the two now married.

The YA novel is set to release in July 2022.
